Pop Art and Yogi® Teas teamed up to launch a Facebook tab application that encourages and reinforces further brand participation amongst their online community.

The Challenge

Gaining Facebook 'likes' is great, but engaging new fans in an already-active Facebook community in a meaningful way would be of greater long-term value.

Strategy

By removing the 'like' experience from the clutter of the Facebook message wall and putting it into its own tab, we were able to create a softer experience that introduced new fans to Yogi's online community. We then rewarded Yogi's customer with a chance to win tea.

Results

The Yogi brand has increased its Facebook presences with thousands of new fans and through the tea giveaway, has collected thousands of email addresses for their ongoing e-mail program.
