iPhone Snowglobe
For the 2007 holiday season, we did what most agencies do—sent out a paper card to our list of clients, family and friends. But as an interactive agency, we wanted to do something slightly more…Innovative. Using the just-launched Apple iPhone orientation events sample code, we developed a fun demonstration of the phone's unique tilt-shift capability with a holiday twist.
The Challenge
Develop a fun holiday card that would demonstrate Pop Art's passion for emerging mobile technology.
Strategy
Leverage the iPhone's orientation change events code to bring real-world snowglobe technology to the small screen.
Results
The iPhone Snowglobe was an internet sensation, and made it on several big-name Apple forums and websites, receiving almost 20,000 unique visits in the week before the holidays.
