In 2007 we worked with Freightliner Trucks—the leading Class-8 truck manufacturer in North America—to launch their first new truck in nearly a decade, the Cascadia. It has gone on to become their highest-selling model year-after-year.

The Challenge

Expand the brand of the largest heavy-duty truck manufacturer in North America online. Integrate the interactive experience to serve the larger marketing effort to launch Freightliner’s first new line of products in nearly a decade.

Strategy

Develop a user experience and interactive cues to showcase the flagship truck’s unique features. Freshen up the larger brand site with multi-media tools, video and a fresh voice/style for the new product line.

Results

The Cascadia’s online branding sets the pace across the trucking industry. Recognized as the industry leader, and positioned as the “smart choice”, the Cascadia brand and Freightliner lines are often imitated by the competition.
