Pop Art Launches Saturday Academy Web Site

Pop Art launched a new web site for Saturday Academy, a non-profit organization providing classes and programs led by professionals in the community for students grades 4-12. Pop Art redesigned the Saturday Academy site to not only improve the look and navigation but to improve the listing, sort and display options for class information. The site is easily administered using a custom database upload module and Catabolt(TM), Pop Art's proprietary web content management system.

Pop Art Creative Director joins Art Institute Panel

Justin Garrity, Pop Art's Creative Director, was invited to join the Art Institute of Portland's Interactive Media Design Program Advisory Committee; he attended the first of a series of meetings on February 22, 2005. The committee's goal is to provide professional advice and recommendations to develop the curriculum of the Portland Art Institute's Interactive Media Design department. Justin said "it's exciting to assist such an incredible school. They are truly devoted to developing the most creative and skilled interactive media designers exceeding the demands of current and future industry needs". |

The course he developed will give insight into the future of Web Site Development through a software engineering approach. The course will focus on implementing best practices, methodologies and tools to ensure maximum benefits for businesses. Two sessions will be held in March and May. |
