To build buzz and excitement around the new Mega Millions® product, Pop Art and the Oregon Lottery® teamed up to create an engaging online experience that allows users to envision what their lives would be like after winning a Mega Millions jackpot.

“We were excited to leverage emerging Augmented Reality technology to allow users to create unique, virtual worlds from the comfort of their own computer.”

Mega Millionizer lets users record and save a 30-second video, allowing their experience to be shared on Facebook and Twitter. Users can then post their creation to a video gallery on the microsite where the community votes for the best videos—with the top vote getters winning some cool, hi-tech prizes.

The user with the most votes at the end of the promotion wins a Canon EOS Rebel T2i camera, while four runners-up will win a Flip MinoHD camera. To be inclusive of users without webcams, a random drawing will award one winner an Apple MacBook Pro!

Pop Art Account Director Tim Deal blogs, “In conjunction with an online media campaign and retail tie-in, this branded Mega Millions microsite engages fun-and-thrill seekers, fantasy enthusiasts and emerging audiences in an entertaining way while driving purchase intent and offering a unique technological experience where users can learn about the product and interact with a gallery of user-generated videos.” Read Tim’s full blog post

Now go make a video and get votes! You can’t win if you don’t play...and the playing is the best part! Live the Experience
